A proud Noongar Traditional Landowner and award-winning entrepreneur, Gerry has been recognised locally, nationally, and internationally for business excellence, leadership, and social impact. With a proven track record of securing blue-chip contracts and driving tangible Aboriginal engagement outcomes, Gerry leads EON Protection with a commitment to professionalism, cultural integrity, trust, and operational excellence.

Director

Devyn is an experienced accounting and tax analyst with a strong background in financial reporting, data interpretation, and operational procurement. Originally from New Zealand, he brings a grounded and analytical perspective, with expertise that lies in streamlining procurement processes and applying data-driven insights to enhance transparency, efficiency, and value for the organisation. His work bridges financial analysis with operational strategy, supporting EON’s commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.

The Hon Ken Wyatt AM is the first Indigenous Australian elected to the House of Representatives and became Australia’s first Indigenous Federal Minister in 2015 as Assistant Minister for Health. He played a key role in securing the National Agreement on “Closing the Gap” and was instrumental in establishing the Indigenous Voice. Ken’s impressive legacy as a Minister includes the development of the National Roadmap for Indigenous Skills, Jobs, and Wealth Creation.

Since retiring from his high-profile AFL career, proud Nyoongar Traditional Owner, Peter has followed a deep-rooted passion to empower Aboriginal people through training and employment opportunities. He founded the highly successful Matera Foundation, a Not-For-Profit (NFP) social enterprise to meet and address the growing lack of opportunities for Indigenous Australians and has worked with some of the country’s most powerful organisations to enact systemic change.

Duncan Ord, EON Protection board

Duncan Ord

Non-Executive Director

Duncan brings over 40 years of executive experience, including as Director General of the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (2017–2021) and Department of Culture and the Arts (2014–2017), where he led policy and delivery in regulated environments. Previously Deputy Director General of the Department of Aboriginal Affairs (2010–2014), he championed economic partnerships for Aboriginal communities. As Director of Greensted Services, he advises on cultural planning, project management, and Indigenous business development.

Awarded the Order of Australia Medal in 2013, Duncan provides expert oversight on compliance, stakeholder relations, and expansion into defence and government sectors, aligning with EON Protection’s mission of excellence and trust.

With over 30 years of leadership experience, Monica brings a wealth of management and governance expertise across a broad range of industries, continents and cultures, including not-for-profit, arts and culture sectors. She holds a Masters Degree in Human Rights Education, with a focus on Indigenous and children’s rights, a Bachelors Degree in Arts (Communication and Cultural Studies), and a Bachelor of Social Science (Sociology). Born and raised on Wadjuk Noongar boodja, Monica is inherently committed to First People’s first principles being embedded into organisations.
