Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
Who we are
EON Protection is a 100% Aboriginal-owned Australian protection and capability company, with our head office at Level 1, 28 Cantonment Street, Fremantle WA 6160. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with this website (eonprotection.com.au) and the enquiries you make with us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us, for example when you:
- send us an enquiry by email, phone or through the website contact form — such as your name, organisation, email address, phone number and message;
- express interest in working with us — such as your contact details, experience and any documents you send, like a CV.
You can contact us without giving your name where it is practical to do so, although we may then be limited in how we can respond.
How the contact form works
When you press “Send message”, the details you entered are sent to our website server and emailed to the relevant EON Protection inbox — careers enquiries to our careers address, everything else to our general enquiries address. We use Resend to deliver that email on our behalf; your message passes through their systems in transit.
To stop the form being abused by automated scripts, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the form is being used by a person rather than a bot. It looks at signals from your browser to make that decision and does not ask you to solve a puzzle. Cloudflare processes that information on our behalf.
The form does not keep its own copy of your enquiry and we do not store it in a database on this website. Once the email arrives, it is held in our email system and handled the same way as any other enquiry you send us.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide and discuss our services, consider applications for work with us, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information where needed for the purposes above — for example with trusted providers that host our email, IT and records systems, with partners involved in delivering a service you have asked about (with your knowledge), or where required or authorised by law. Some providers may store information outside Australia; where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected.
Cookies, analytics and third-party services
- We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited and how people arrive. It sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as a randomised identifier, your approximate location, device and browser. We use it in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you. Google’s use of information is covered by its own privacy policy, and you can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.
- This website does not use advertising cookies and we do not sell or share this information for advertising.
- Your choice on the “Motion” switch in the footer is saved in your own browser so the setting is remembered. It is not sent to us.
- Our website host automatically records standard technical information, such as IP addresses and browser type, to keep the site secure and running.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers. “Get directions” links open Google Maps. Google’s use of information is covered by its own privacy policy.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure, and we securely destroy or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at hello@eonprotection.com.au or on 1800 331 768.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us using the details above and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
